The Coalition for Market Integrity (CMI), is a nonpartisan, nonprofit alliance of public companies, investors, and stakeholders committed to promoting fairness, transparency, and accountability in U.S. capital markets.
What We Do
We work directly with lawmakers, regulators, and enforcement agencies to advocate for reforms that close regulatory loopholes and deter manipulative practices like short and distort campaigns and algorithmic abuse.
We unite public companies and investors who have been affected by market manipulation — providing a trusted platform to collaborate, share strategies, access resources, and amplify our collective voice.
We educate stakeholders — from journalists to legislators — about the real-world impacts of misinformation, abusive short selling, and regulatory gaps. Through media engagement and public campaigns, we shine a spotlight on corruption in the system.

the Coaltion
Formed in early 2025 as a response to the rising threat of market manipulation; particularly short-and-distort campaigns, naked short selling, and algorithmic manipulation. CMI advocates for stronger enforcement of existing laws, smarter transparency standards, and a level playing field for all participants.
